Controller

Founded in 1968 as a trading company for Scandinavian laboratory equipment, SKAN is now global market leader in the specialist area of isolator construction for aseptic applications. One of our core competencies is the manufacture of process isolators for pharmaceutical-aseptic production. Even the most complex customer requirements can be fulfilled thanks to the experts at our in-house laboratories who research innovative solutions for isolator technology. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Preparation, analysis and interpretation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements of all international companies (CH, DE, USA, Japan)
  • Execution of the monthly financial statements using SAP
  • Support in the preparation of internal and external financial reporting (monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements)
  • Processing of ad-hoc analyses and reports incl. presentation of results 
  • Preparation of target/actual comparisons and profitability analyses
  • Collaboration in the planning and execution of the budget process
  • Collaboration in optimization processes (department-specific and cross-departmental)
  • Support of the departments in all business management issues

 

 

Hardskills

 

  • Successfully completed business studies with a focus on finance & controlling, preferably with further training as an expert in accounting and controlling
  • SAP knowledge (FI/CO modules mandatory), additional SAP module knowledge such as PP, SD, MM advantageous
  • Solid knowledge of the Swiss GAAP FER accounting standard and group reporting
  • Professional experience in controlling in a manufacturing company is an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of the MS Office package, especially MS Excel
  • Very good written and spoken language skills in German and English
