Digital Application Developer- Predictive Maintenance

Founded in 1968 as a trading company for Scandinavian laboratory equipment, SKAN is now global market leader in the specialist area of isolator construction for aseptic applications. One of our core competencies is the manufacture of process isolators for pharmaceutical-aseptic production. Even the most complex customer requirements can be fulfilled thanks to the experts at our in-house laboratories who research innovative solutions for isolator technology. 



  • Development of the predictive maintenance system for isolators in the existing team
  • Design and implementation of the software deployment and subscription service
  • Interpretation, design and programming in the areas of database, algorithms and data modelling
  • Recording/clarification of customer requirements and transfer to software design/project
  • Carrying out system tests and user training, writing manuals
  • Support and maintenance of the corresponding systems




  • Bachelor/Master in software development for data science with flair for industrial automation
  • Experience with database design
  • Application programming in a programming language (Java, Python, C#, Matlab) 
  • Experience in the application update management cycle
  • Experience in OSIsoft PI (optional)
  • Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS)
  • Business fluent in German and English level B2
