Head Facility Management

Founded in 1968 as a trading company for Scandinavian laboratory equipment, SKAN is now global market leader in the specialist area of isolator construction for aseptic applications. One of our core competencies is the manufacture of process isolators for pharmaceutical-aseptic production. Even the most complex customer requirements can be fulfilled thanks to the experts at our in-house laboratories who research innovative solutions for isolator technology. 

 

Responsibilities  Responsibilities

 

  • Commissioning of the new building project
  • Technical and personnel management of 5 directly subordinate employees and organisational responsibility
  • Overall responsibility for technical and infrastructural building management
  • Interface to various internal departments and staff units as well as external partners and suppliers
  • Budgeting for the area of responsibility and operational multi-year planning
  • Regular inspection of the condition of the building, determination of maintenance requirements and warranty tracking
  • Budgeting, tendering, awarding, monitoring, acceptance and accounting of maintenance and repair measures
  • Coordination of external service providers
  • Communication and coordination with tenants, owners and external companies
  • Management of staff clothing and fleet management
  • Procurement, management, distribution and coordination of PPE including cleaning service
  • SIBE operational: as safety officer, you implement the SIBE specifications. You ensure the documentation as well as the inspection rounds, plan the training courses and you are responsible for the annual evacuation drill.
  • Ensuring that the building security documentation and the alarm organisation are up to date
  • organising and optimising work processes
  • Co-operating with other service providers (e.g. catering, transport and courier services)
  • Ensuring quality standards and cost management, including reporting

 

 

Hardskills  Hardskills

 

  • Completed technical or manual training in electrical engineering, building or operational technology
  • Higher education in facility and building management is desirable
  • Training or corresponding practice as SIBE
  • Several years of professional experience in technical building management of commercial properties
  • Good knowledge of MS-Office (especially Excel), knowledge of building management software is desirable
