Finance Accountant

Founded in 1968 as a trading company for Scandinavian laboratory equipment, SKAN is now global market leader in the specialist area of isolator construction for aseptic applications. One of our core competencies is the manufacture of process isolators for pharmaceutical-aseptic production. Even the most complex customer requirements can be fulfilled thanks to the experts at our in-house laboratories who research innovative solutions for isolator technology. 




  • Responsible for compliance with group-wide policies related to group-wide accounting guidelines
  • Responsible for the Accounting Manual
  • Treasury Management (cash and foreign exchange management, payment processing as well as planning and monitoring of balance sheet structure and creditworthiness, etc.)
  • Value added tax settlements (CH / DE)
  • Intercompany reconciliation of foreign subsidiaries
  • Further development of transfer pricing on SKAN group level
  • Responsible for tax return of the Swiss companies
  • Maintenance and further development of the SAP FI/CO module
  • Contact person for the auditing company
  • Responsible for the ICS
  • Support in the preparation of external reporting
  • Collaboration in specific projects in the area of FI/CO
  • Support of the specialist departments in all business management issues





  • Successfully completed business studies with a focus on finance & controlling or with further education to become a Swiss certified public accountant or Swiss certified tax expert
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of finance and accounting, preferably in an auditing company
  • SAP knowledge (FI/CO modules mandatory), additional SAP module knowledge such as PP, SD, MM advantageous
  • Solid knowledge of the accounting standard Swiss GAAP FER and group reporting
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in finance and accounting, preferably in an international company
  • Experience in finance and accounting, preferably in an international company
  • Very good knowledge of the MS Office package, especially MS Excel
  • Very good written and spoken language skills in German and English
