Junior OSIsoft PI Expert

Founded in 1968 as a trading company for Scandinavian laboratory equipment, SKAN is now global market leader in the specialist area of isolator construction for aseptic applications. One of our core competencies is the manufacture of process isolators for pharmaceutical-aseptic production. Even the most complex customer requirements can be fulfilled thanks to the experts at our in-house laboratories who research innovative solutions for isolator technology. 


We in the "Digital Projects" department are a highly motivated and innovative team, specialising in engineering for the automation of process plants. So if you appreciate a varied and at the same time complex challenge with a lot of personal responsibility, then you've come to the right place! 



  • Support in the recording and clarification of customer requirements
  • Assistance with concept, layout and design of the data infrastructure (data collection, aggregation, visualisation)
  • Preparation of customer-specific solutions and quotations
  • Preparation of qualification documents and documentation
  • Installation and configuration of OSIsoft PI Server and connectivity (OPC, PI Cloud Connect) in the area of Data Historian / Data Intelligence
  • Creation of the AF structure, EF, analysis and notifications  
  • Assistance with process optimisation
  • Support with the execution of tests and commissioning




  • Technical background at FH/HF level (automation technician, engineer, etc.)
  • Initial practical experience in the layout, design and configuration of systems in the area of OSIsoft PI, Historian and/or Data Intelligence.
  • Experience in the area of networks, servers and operating systems and in the area of application programming (VB, VBA, .NET etc.) is advantageous.
  • Preferably experience in project management within life sciences or chemistry (GAMP, CSV)
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Willingness to travel internationally 10%
