Mechanical Design Engineer Process Automation

Founded in 1968 as a trading company for Scandinavian laboratory equipment, SKAN is now global market leader in the specialist area of isolator construction for aseptic applications. One of our core competencies is the manufacture of process isolators for pharmaceutical-aseptic production. Even the most complex customer requirements can be fulfilled thanks to the experts at our in-house laboratories who research innovative solutions for isolator technology. 

 

Responsibilities
•    Realization of development as well as customer projects in the team
•    Design of customer-specific isolator and filling systems including accessories
•    Collaboration in the development of systems and subsystems
•    Preparation and maintenance of planning and project documents
•    Design of system parts and components
•    Support of technical departments and suppliers in design matters
•    Development and maintenance of internal design templates

 

Hardskills
•    Basic training as a design engineer or mechanic 
•    Further education in the direction of design (TS)
•    At least 3 years of professional experience (special plant construction is an advantage)
•    Good knowledge of 3D CAD systems, preferably SolidWorks
•    Experience with PDM systems for the purpose of managing CAD data
•    Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English
