Project Engineer OSIsoft PI / Historian / Data Intelligence

Founded in 1968 as a trading company for Scandinavian laboratory equipment, SKAN is now global market leader in the specialist area of isolator construction for aseptic applications. One of our core competencies is the manufacture of process isolators for pharmaceutical-aseptic production. Even the most complex customer requirements can be fulfilled thanks to the experts at our in-house laboratories who research innovative solutions for isolator technology. 


We in the "Digital Projects" department are a highly motivated and innovative team, specialising in engineering for the automation of process plants. So if you appreciate a varied and at the same time complex challenge with a lot of personal responsibility, then you've come to the right place! 




  • Recording / clarification of customer needs
  • Layout, design and programming of systems in the area of OSIsoft PI / Historian / Data Intelligence
  • Cost calculation and offer preparation
  • Creation of functional specifications and concepts
  • Assistance with process optimization
  • Creation of qualification documents and documentation
  • Performing system tests and user training
  • Support and maintenance of the corresponding systems




  • Technical apprenticeship training and diploma HF/FH
  • Experience in programming systems in the area of OSIsoft PI / Historian / Data Intelligence
  • Experience in the field of networks, servers and operating systems and in the field of application programming (VB, VBA, .NET etc.) is an advantage
  • Preferably experience in project management in the field of life science or chemistry
  • Knowledge and experience in GAMP and CSV 
  • Business fluent in German and English
