Senior Project Manager Customized Solutions

Founded in 1968 as a trading company for Scandinavian laboratory equipment, SKAN is now global market leader in the specialist area of isolator construction for aseptic applications. One of our core competencies is the manufacture of process isolators for pharmaceutical-aseptic production. Even the most complex customer requirements can be fulfilled thanks to the experts at our in-house laboratories who research innovative solutions for isolator technology. 




  • Management of projects from contract review to qualification, problem identification, creative and analytical problem solving, and handover to the customer
  • Responsibility for several complex projects regarding the functionality, schedule and cost compliance of the plant system
  • Management of project teams in a matrix organization 
  • Design of plants and preparation of specifications during the design phase
  • Implementation of the requirements of customers and authorities (GMP - Good Manufacturing Practice)
  • Coordination of the interfaces to external systems and other companies involved in the overall project, as well as contribution to process improvement
  • Leading project meetings and reviews with customers and internal team 
  • Supervision and support of the manufacturing and implementation phases, management of customer approvals, as well as ensuring project schedules and goals
  • Monthly evaluation of project progress and reporting to management
  • Budget responsibility for projects in the range of CHF 10 million




  • Education in engineering sciences FH / Bachelor (mechanical engineering, food, pharmacy, etc.)
  • Several years of experience in the pharmaceutical environment, ideally in ventilation engineering
  • Sound, several years of experience in project management of project planning and project leadership (on-time, in budget, etc.)
  • Experience in leading project teams in an international environment
  • Secure handling of MS-Office
  • Business fluent in German and English
