Project Engineer Automation

Founded in 1968 as a trading company for Scandinavian laboratory equipment, SKAN is now global market leader in the specialist area of isolator construction for aseptic applications. One of our core competencies is the manufacture of process isolators for pharmaceutical-aseptic production. Even the most complex customer requirements can be fulfilled thanks to the experts at our in-house laboratories who research innovative solutions for isolator technology. 




  • Recording / clarification of customer needs
  • Layout and design of automation and process control systems and the necessary IT infrastructure
  • Cost calculation and offer preparation
  • Creation of functional specifications and concepts
  • Assistance with process optimization
  • Installation of client/server systems
  • Programming of automation and cost control systems
  • Performing system tests and user training
  • ​​​​​​​Assumption of project manager functions with appropriate experience
  • Support and maintenance of the corresponding systems




  • Technical apprenticeship and diploma HF/FH
  • Experience in programming automation an control systems (PLC/SCADA/PLS)
  • Experience in the field of networks, servers and as well as virtualizations and ESXi
  • Preferably experience in project management in the field of life science or chemistry
  • Knowledge and experience in GAMP and CSV
